Swan GTM Skills — community go-to-market playbooks for agents

Open MIT library of production-grade GTM Agent Skills — prospecting, research, outreach, signals, pipeline, RevOps — curated by Swan and authored by the GTM community.

Access: Host tools may need a paid subscription to run skills. The GitHub library is MIT and free to clone. Upstream also offers native execution inside Swan (getswan.com); Baonat recommends the free open skills on GitHub — not a paid Swan product requirement.

What it does
Installs skills from swan-gtm/gtm-skills so Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and other Agent Skills hosts can load operator-written GTM playbooks (plain SKILL.md files) for prospecting, outreach, pipeline, and RevOps tasks.
Best for
GTM operators and founders who want portable, stack-agnostic sales/marketing playbooks inside coding agents — not a vendor-locked CRM tutorial.
How to install / use
Install with `npx skills add swan-gtm/gtm-skills` (whole library picker), or `--skill <name>` / a creator path for a subset. Browse gtmskills.com. GitHub artifact is MIT.

Install from swan-gtm/gtm-skills, then pick one creator skill that matches the GTM verb you need.

Copy this

  • Install or link the GTM Skills library — do not paste wholesale SKILL.md bodies
  • Speak in GTM verbs (ICP, outreach, pipeline) and name your stack only as context
  • Ask for judgment criteria and a concrete next artifact, not a vague strategy essay

When to use

Reach for Swan GTM Skills when you want a community-curated GTM collection — prospecting, research, outreach, signals, pipeline, RevOps — as Agent Skills any compatible host can read.

Good fits:

  • Operator playbooks you want inside Cursor / Claude Code / Codex instead of a Notion dump.
  • Stack-agnostic GTM work (“check the CRM”, “load the ICP”) that should not hard-code one vendor.
  • Sampling community-authored skills by creator without Baonat inventing separate cards for each.

Collection card: one Baonat entry for the whole library. Browse creators under skills/ or on gtmskills.com; install what you need.

Skip it when you need a single founder-oriented GTM diagnosis spine (gtm-cofounder), or marketing execution (CRO/SEO/copy) from marketing-skills.

Access note

Host tools may require a paid subscription to run Agent Skills. The GitHub library is MIT and free from swan-gtm/gtm-skills. Upstream notes that skills also run natively inside Swan with tools wired. Baonat recommends the free open skills on GitHub — using Swan’s product is optional and separate, not required for this card.

Why

Generic “help me with GTM” prompts produce checklist sludge. This library (curated by Swan, authored by the GTM community) encodes operator judgment in portable SKILL.md files — what to notice first, what good output looks like — without locking the skill text to one CRM brand.

Baonat marks this verified against the public MIT repo. Link sources; do not paste wholesale skill bodies.

Install

  1. One skill: npx skills add swan-gtm/gtm-skills --skill reach-out (replace with the skill you need).
  2. One creator’s set: e.g. npx skills add swan-gtm/gtm-skills/skills/ido-goldberg (path varies by creator).
  3. Whole library (picker): npx skills add swan-gtm/gtm-skills
  4. Target a host: add -a claude-code, -a cursor, -a codex, etc.; use --list to browse.
  5. Browse: gtmskills.com or clone github.com/swan-gtm/gtm-skills.

Copy this

Kickoff — load a GTM playbook:

Use a skill from swan-gtm/gtm-skills for this task: [prospecting | outreach | pipeline | RevOps].
My ICP: [...]. Stack context only: [CRM / enrichment tools we actually use].
Deliver: judgment criteria + one concrete next artifact (list, sequence, or checklist).
Do not invent tools we do not have. Do not paste unrelated SKILL.md files into the reply.

When comparing creators:

List 2–3 skills in swan-gtm/gtm-skills that match [task]. Summarize when each is for.
I will install one — do not dump full skill bodies.

Concrete scenarios

  1. Outbound week. Install an outreach/prospecting skill; agent drafts a sequence against your ICP and compliance constraints.
  2. Pipeline hygiene. RevOps-oriented skills structure CRM cleanup or stage definitions without renaming your tools incorrectly.
  3. Community contribution. Use upstream’s agent submission flow when you have a battle-tested playbook to share (see repo CONTRIBUTING).

Pitfalls / when NOT to use

  • Assuming Swan product is required. GitHub skills are MIT; Swan execution is optional.
  • Vendor-name prompts that fight the skill. Skills prefer GTM verbs; pass your stack as context, not as the skill’s identity.
  • Dumping the whole library into one chat. Install selectively; one skill per job.
  • Wrong pack. Founder strategy spine → gtm-cofounder. CRO/SEO/copy execution → marketing-skills.
